Lourdes Cathedral

Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours which is popularly called as New Church or Puthanpalli is the biggest and the tallest church in Asia. The 2 front towers of the church have a height of 146 feet while the central tower has a height of 260 feet which makes it the tallest church in Asia. The church is 2 storied and has 11 altars. The interior of this church is beautifully decorated with murals, images and sculptures. Thousands of pilgrims visit this church annually as this church is also a major tourist attraction.
